This page walks through how we build a custom wooden wine box from your first message to the packed carton. We make solid wood boxes, faux wood boxes, and rigid board alternatives. Send us your bottle dimensions or a sample, and we will quote from the same eight step process.

Eight steps from brief to shipment

Online consultation

You send us box dimensions or a bottle sample, reference design, quantity, and special requirements. We confirm what we can make and answer structure questions.

Design confirmation

We agree on the structure and material before any tooling starts. You approve the drawing or a reference sample.

Plate making and proofing

We make plates and a proof for your approval. Colour is matched to Pantone references at this stage.

Machine printing

Your approved artwork is printed on the facing paper or board. We run first article approval before the full print run.

Machine lamination

Printed sheets are laminated to protect the surface. Lamination also helps the paper resist scuffs during assembly and shipping.

Machine box making

Greyboard panels are cut, creased, and formed on box making machines. Machine lamination and machine box making keep dimensions stable.

Hand assembly

Inserts, hinges, magnets, and handles are set by hand where needed. This is where four point bottle support is checked.

Quality inspection and packing

We inspect and pack finished boxes. Our in house checks include a 1.2 m six face drop test with bottle loaded and stacking top load of 40 kg or more for 24 hours.

Two sample types

We make two sample types. A blank sample shows the structure, board thickness, and insert fit. A printed sample shows the final paper, colour, and finishing. Blank samples confirm geometry. Printed samples confirm visual match. We recommend a printed sample for colour critical dark shades like black, deep blue, or burgundy.

Payment and shipping

We accept T/T and PayPal. Shipping is by air, sea, or express. You choose the method that fits your delivery needs. We will quote freight after we know your destination and carton count. We do not quote production time until the design is confirmed.
